Der Grosch – Private brewery inn

In the Braugasthof Grosch you will experience a hospitality that has grown in our almost 600-year family tradition. Every day we serve you homemade dumplings with typical Franconian roasts. In addition, there is a rich selection of Franconian dishes from seasonal cuisine and throughout the year changing action weeks.

Our guests can always enjoy the sun in a culinary way when the weather is fine in our beautifully framed beer yard or from April to September on the alpine pasture in the middle of the Rosenau meadows.

The art collections on the Veste Coburg, Ehrenburg Castle, the city residence of the Coburg Dukes, the toy museum in Sonneberg, the museum of the German toy industry in Neustadt, the Obermaintherme and Banz Monastery near Staffelstein are just some of the worthwhile excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity. To Bamberg, the historical world cultural heritage, you drive half an hour. Rosenau Castle, the birthplace of Prince Albert, Prince Consort of Queen Victoria of England, in the middle of the magnificent English park, is within walking distance.

We want you to come back again. Therefore your satisfaction is our claim. True to our motto:

Hospitality since 1425.
