Get inspired by the visit of the Coburg Christmas market and the glassblower town of Lauscha, which in 1847 was the birthplace of the art of glassblowing and especially of the Christmas tree decoration.

1st Day

Visit of the “Coburg Christmas market” in the historic old town (in own organization, you will receive a voucher for mulled wine upon your arrival).

In the evening, we serve you our Grosch beer menu and a small beer from our own brewery.

2nd Day

Visit the Thuringian glassblower town of Lauscha, where today’s glittering Christmas tree decoration, which is valued all over the world today, originated in 1597 with the founding of a glassworks. In 1847, Lauscha glassblowers created the first fruit made of glass, a pioneer of today’s Christmas tree balls. The picturesque resort in the southern Thuringian Forest offers beautiful nature and over 400 years of tradition. The district Ernstthal is located directly on the Rennsteig and is one of the most beautiful winter and hiking areas in Germany. You can reach Lauscha quickly by train and car. In the evening, we will serve you a Franconian winter menu.
